OWNER BUILDER PROGRAM

At Classic Carolina Homes, we offer turn-key services within a 60 mile radius of our model located in Mooresville. For those outside the 60 mile radius of Mooresville, the Owner Builder Program or Affiliate Builder Program is available. Through the Owner Builder Program or our Affiliate Builder Program, we are able to offer services on the entire east coast (Maine to Florida, plus states located east of Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee).

Classic Carolina Homes offers the following packages for those choosing to build their own home:

THE MODULAR ADVANTAGE PROGRAM: Homeowners wishing to save money while having the security, management expertise and consulting guidance provided. The CLASSIC PROGRAM is designed for homeowners having a basic knowledge of the construction process, the ability to locate and hire local subcontractors and have 10-20 hours per week to dedicate to the project. Remember when you had your driver license learner’s permit and needed mom or dad in the car while you were driving….you do the driving, we’re here for support.

THE MODULAR ADVANTAGE PLUS PROGRAM: Homeowners who need assistance during the initial phases of construction (grading, foundation and placement of the home on the foundation) and have the ability to complete the home once it is under roof and dried in, this is the program for you. This is ideal for those with drywall, trim work and flooring skills. We do the hard stuff and you put the finishing touches on your dream home. Included in this program is three site visits (initial site visit prior to contract, the day of set up of home, floating visit during construction cycle).

THE MODULAR ADVANTAGE PLATINUM PROGRAM: Homeowners wishing to save money and don’t need the support of a general contractor will choose this program. Maximum equity can be built under this program. We will ship the home to your site and the rest is up to you.
